Seminars 2006: High-quality specialization .

The Foro del Ferrocarril y del Transporte has developed a complete programme of thematic seminars for the year 2006.

Similar to previous occasions, these seminars gather a great number of experts, leading companies of the sector and representatives from public and rail administrations. These meetings –organized by the Foro del Ferrocarril y del Transporte - constitute an indispensable framework to get acquainted with current trends as well as with the progress of important technical aspects of the sector.

The development of the programme is based on topics that highly motivate professionals of the sector and is done according to recent surveys. Light Undergrounds, High Speed, Maintenance and Infrastructure and Freight Funding will be the main topics to be discussed during the 2006 seminars.

The Foro del Ferrocarril y del Transporte has been holding several seminars of great interest within the sector during the last years which had an average participation of 285 experts per session. The great number of attendees gives proof of the professionals' confidence in these technical seminars.

All these initiatives undertaken by the Foro del Ferrocarril y del Transporte culminate in the International Rail Forum 2006, the only exhibition and congress of the rail sector organized and held in Spain . In the last years, this outstanding meeting has grown to currently become a must for companies, experts and public administrations. IRF will continue its course in the next edition which will be held in November 2006, in Madrid .

The FFT presents its seminar programmes for the year 2006

The 2006 seminars will be held in Madrid . The topics to be discussed are Light Undergrounds, High Speed, Maintenance, Infrastructure and Freight Funding.

Tramways and Light Undergrounds, an ongoing option

Cities like Madrid , Barcelona and Alicante bet for this fast and high-quality mean of transport. For February 2006, the FFT has organized a seminar on Tramways and Light Undergrounds -Superstructure, Rolling Stock and Funding- where the latest innovations concerning this topic will be shown .
